Range trip
« on: March 11, 2022, 09:15:35 AM »
Pretty day yesterday so headed to the sheriff/s range. I normally bring SKS's or AK's but reached deep into the safe today.
The M1A is a Polytech that my machinest buddy and I cut and threaded. Very comfortable to shoot and way more accurate than I am.
The Garand is a Mini G built by Tim Shuffin. I had him put a 308 barrel on it. Fun gun.
Good thing I was alone at the range. These suckers are loud.

Very nice!  Love that stock on the Garand, mine is very boring looking like 90% of all the others.

I haven't been to the range in forever, but maybe once the windy spring season is over it'll be time to go put a few tens of dollars ($100's? :o :o) of ammo down range.

I agree with RM.  Beautiful wood on the Mini-G.  thumb1
