Ceremonial Yugo sks for the 4th
« on: July 02, 2020, 01:46:05 PM »
Hi every one....

Had some time this afternoon to post here for the first time.  I posted these pics on a different platform but thought I would post them here.  In celebration of our independence day I thought it appropriate for a parade sks combo.  Happy 4th of July every one!

Very nice man!  I kick myself sometimes for not jumping on one when they were selling at retail and I had the chance, then other times I decide that owning an SKS I would never shoot is just not for me.  They are very nice lookers!

Nice!  thumb1 I see you picked up one of the plated (nickel or chrome?) M57s too!

I’m glad I jumped on the first batch offered by Aim.

Yep Im glad you did too... not sure how many of these cam into the country... from what I can tell just several hundred.  I think I have seen 3 batches.  Two from AIM and one from Classic.

I see that pair and I'm kicking myself for not getting in on those while the getting was good.

1776 will commence again if you try to take our firearms... It doesn't matter how many Lenins you get out on the street begging for them to be taken.

Yes, the "Protokol" M59/66-A1s are superbly finished Yugoslavian SKSs with hard-chromed bayonet (blade and handle), gas tube, handguard ferrules, magazine, magazine follower and bolt carrier.

Are the barrels chromed on these?   Seems like, 'while you are at it'.... :)
