Cleaning rod slot in stock
« on: February 09, 2022, 04:10:13 PM »
When I saw pictures of Sean's Interesting 1949, I noticed that there was not the normal slot but rather it was drilled. I have never seen that before and thought that it was found only on early 49's. Then Cz315 presented 2 more examples. The twist came when Boris Badinov posted his 52 stock and it showed the same features. And then I got a call stating that my early 50 with spike and 45 degree gas port also had been drilled. Sean' album and mine are below.

Make it three. I was able to confirm that the first one I posted, which didn't have pics of the front, had the drilled hole too. I've been promised pics, but still waiting...

Here are the pics. I was promised more, but considering that place is about to be bombed the **** out of, it's unlikely to be their priority.
