http://www.centerfiresystems.com/mag0289.aspx

This isn't even listed on ProMag's site yet...

It is a duckbill 35rd (sigh) mag, but it has a built in mag release assist...similar, actually almost exactly the same as the vise grip thing, but on the mag itself, pushing the standard mag latch rearward, but with a forward motion. It is pretty slick, and if it works and is eventually available in a less garish capacity...it just might be the niftyest thing done in the SKS aftermarket world in awhile.  They are pretty spendy, but Centerfire usually is anyway...but that was where I found them.

Edit: I just found it on the Archangel site...didn't know they had a separate one.

Built in release eh...  Pretty nifty.

1776 will commence again if you try to take our firearms... It doesn't matter how many Lenins you get out on the street begging for them to be taken.

Pretty neat. A simple lever that pushes the stock mag release back. Still a duckbill, but it's nice to see companies still working on new ideas for the SKS.

If anyone is planning a bubba project, the texturing of these mags matches that of the Archangel stock.  The stock can be seen in my thread about my son's project in the project forum.

Hard to find mag pouches to fit these in!
