Title: Gentlemen...Luxembourg FN49 & Friends
Post by: echo1 on March 11, 2021, 04:28:35 PM
Hi Fellas,

Just picked up a Lux FN49 that I traded 3 SKSs for. It's in decent shape and on the rack with an SVT, 7mm Venezuelan FN49, 8mm Egyptian FN, and a Winchester Garand. I'm a happy camper. PAX

Nice! I love FN49s and the Luxembourg contract in .30-06 is the best of the "commonly" available versions.

Thanks Guys,

These main battle rifles represent the epitome of my meager collection. The Lux wiped out the remaining barter fodder in my SKS heap, so I need to take a break with further liquidations, but they're getting crazy money for SKSs.

I'm going to head in a different direction with my "turnovers" if I can make it happen, flying machines ferried to Alaska  thumb1 PAX

Sweet rifles, Pax! I'm trying to obtain a variant of the FN-49 eventually.

Don't let GG motorboat your rack!

I got to fondle a beautiful Venezuelan FN49 this weekend.
A stunning example. Near mint condition, but at $1300, it was a little out of my reach.
