pretty sure he is looking for SKS duckbill mags....there would be no need for the adapter if it took AK mags in the first place.  :)

Actually, the cool thing about Marcus' adapters is that they allow use of magazines without the duckbill  :)  8)

Right, but they still aren't modded to be like AK mags are they?  I am under the impression that the adapter made modded duckbill mags function like AK mags, but you don't have to mill the heck out of the receiver to allow for their width.

But...   I believe it has to start out as a duckbill mag so the material is there for it to latch.

1776 will commence again if you try to take our firearms... It doesn't matter how many Lenins you get out on the street begging for them to be taken.

LC, you are 100% correct. They must be standard duckbill, SKS, 7.62x39, polymer mags to start out. We modify them to run with our adapter. SO, no more duckbills. And they run better than with the duckbills on them. And store better too. No, those mags from the link are AK mags and won't fit the receiver well.

Marcus, just came across this while doing some searches. $17.36 each.

ProMag SKS 7.62mmX39mm 30 Round Black Magazine (SKSA4) - Able Ammo
My Avatar is a pic of the real "Ghost" SKS in honor of xxxsks(joe). It is a pic of a fully decked out SKS in Capco hunter's kit. This was mine, the only other pic I had ever seen of one was Joe's.

I found some at locked -n- Loaded for 14 and change each. seems to be the best price so far.
