Hello RVulcan and welcome. I'm not sure if you know this but it's customary for people to pass out maple syrup when they join.  :)

Was going through some old firearm pics saved on my onedrive and found this image I used to throw up on intro threads back in the day. SO, ....

My Avatar is a pic of the real "Ghost" SKS in honor of xxxsks(joe). It is a pic of a fully decked out SKS in Capco hunter's kit. This was mine, the only other pic I had ever seen of one was Joe's.

Fine looking SKS!
I've got some oceanfront property in Arizona, you buy that I'll throw in the golden gate for free

Welcome from SW Missouri! Glad you joined us, Rvulcan500! Great bunch of guys here and a wealth of information to be gleaned.  We love to accumulate new data on the SKS family and always love to see pics of the various SKS' or entire collections that our members come up with!

*Edit: I'm curious as to what mount you've used to mount your scope?  It doesn't appear to be a Receiver Cover-type mount?  But I can't see the left side, either.

Looks like the older Russian PU style mount imo.

Welcome from Kali. Nice rig, PAX
  You need a crew

But they should have sufficient arms and ammunition to maintain a status of Independence from any who might attempt to abuse them. echo1

Normally I don't care for a scoped SKS, but that rig looks pretty good to me.

Thank you.  One draw back is the mount is milled so it adds a bit more weight
