I still consider the Romy to be the best value in SKSs today.  They are built like tanks, even if they trend a bit uglier then their brethren.

I was going to say $205 is a good price for any Romanian but then I looked and saw stock, handguard, receiver cover and magazine in order to restore it to non-matching though original configuration and thought maybe not. Could probably come out ahead with patience on acquisition of the right parts and sale of the wrong parts but "Meh" summed it up well

Yeah, wet hot mess there all around. Not a bad price if one wanted to part it out though.

The last gun is what gets me. Horsetrash photos and it goes for Russian SKS prices.  I give up trying to understand this market.

Yeah, for that price I want photos of every last serialized component, a pristine bore and a gorgeous matching stock. One of those sellers with transaction numbers in the 1000s that gets followed by many buyers and selling prices start to go up.
