I just got this bayonet and was wondering where it would have come from (sorry for the poor photos) it has a black paint similar to the Russian refurbs. The bayonet is definitely a Chinese example (as far as I can tell). Any idea as to its story?

I would say rattle can job done here state side if I haf to guess. As far as I know the Chinese did not paint their bayonets.

Fair enough. I saw a blued spike style bayonet and got excited. Probably should have looked closer at the photo. At least I got it for cheap.
