I built something similar out of a '67 Ishapore 2A1 salvage, and bits out of my parts stash, ATI syth, big Chinese glass, cheap bipod and Cabela's cheek riser. I'm running a 5 round mag but I have 10s & 12s. If you shoot slow, it groups FMJ okay at 300 yards. I think I've scrounged up enough MK III furniture to resto, but it doesn't bother me that much set up the way it is. PAX
I just like to tinker and see what's possible, PAX
.....My mother built model aircraft (memories of mongram and revell planes hanging all over the house)for hobby shops and would get free models for my older brothers in the process. I guess its in the blood. Its certainly a great stress reliever when you tinker with guns or some other hobby.

Ex ag aviation guy. When I was a kid in Oakland, I was a guest of a Cub Scout patrol. We got to ride on a tethered blimp at Earheart Field, very cool. PAX
Nice work. The Iron Maide front man just passed away I'm sure you know. I'm going to put one of my Paratroopers in Albanian furniture and call it a T56 tanker. PAX
Not much of a Metal Head but my boys know everybody by their first names and have drug me to some hole-in-the-wall gigs. I like the blues. PAX

My mothers hobby rubbed off on me. I have a collection too but nowhere near 200 pieces. I belong to a women's modeling group on youtube and scalemates. We are rare in that hobby but do exist.Totally off-topic but recently built/painted the Iron maiden spitfire and a few others,.....

I went there a few years ago and was the first in line. A tour bus pulled up with WWII vets being pushed around by Nam & Korean vets. The docents thought I was part of that crew and I got some leeway going over the ropes to get some killer photos. I spent 10 hours there, it's awesome. That year I took an extra week to get back to Kali from my summer gig in Idaho, hit up Erikson, Boeing, Legacy, Warhawk and Bird. PAX
Erickson in Madras has a FW190D. They specialized in Naval WWII air. The main reason I went to Everett was they have the only airworthy Mosquito in North America. I didn't know they closed, changed hands and reopened. The ME262 is there. If you haven't been you need to go. They have a full-scale diorama of a Brit Centurion breaking through a French villa's wall, right next to the only Stuka being restored. PAX
