Wartime Swiss
« on: April 10, 2017, 02:08:08 AM »
Here's a good looking Swiss k31 I just rescued from a pawn shop. '41 production and all matching in walnut, all thanks due to Hermann Hollinger of the Mobile Munitions Company (<-- total stab in the dark there) for taking care of this rifle in his service. I'll shoot this masterpiece of a 20th century battle rifle in his honor.

Sweet Swiss! Everyone should have one, or more. No troop tags in mine  :(  but no import marks either  :)

I think you're spot on: 4th Mobile Munitions Company of 12th Batallion

Very nice, congrats!  Had mine out for a run a few days back - a ridiculously easy rifle to shoot well. And probably the best "surplus" ammo ever made.

Canadian...eh!

Never have shot one myself...  How much ammo you have?

1776 will commence again if you try to take our firearms... It doesn't matter how many Lenins you get out on the street begging for them to be taken.

About 800 rds of GP11, like Luke says, never enough. I like the straight pull action with shells flying over your head at 6:00
