Googled "Type 63 for sale" and found a "laughable auction" category entry...

Type 63 isn't an sks. Not a lot of parts in common either.

There is hope for them here up north but it is faint so far.

Edit: I see now the sks being sold as a type 63. What bs.

A little late to this party, but I just found this thread. Got a laugh about the CSI-imported SKS D being advertised as a Type 63, and "only accepts 20 rounder star mags, or Norinco mags with a humpback, no spineback mags", but also includes "three other ak magazines that do not function with this rifle." That may have been a good deal for a D, but I think I may have been a bit worried that the confused person might have screwed up a good SKS already. For the package laying in the pics, it was probably a good deal. I wonder what the Seller went through to come to these conclusions?  umnik1
