You need a spike. The easiest way to tell, for future reference, is the cutout in the feral. A spike has a U cut and a blade has a V cut.  Keep in mind also that you need the paratrooper specific model, as the standard SKS bayonet will be too long.

Desert Fox Sales has the paratrooper spikes for $30 if you can't score one for less on ebay or elsewhere.

The original bayo on an 11 mil /26\ would have been a spike (U cutout on the stock ferrule).  That replacement stock currently on the rifle looks like it blade cut though.  I would say you need a paratrooper blade to fit that gun as it currently sits which is a bit harder to find than a para spike.

I just looked at the feral myself. If it were me, I'd still go with the spike, as it's the correct one for the rifle due to the feral cutout.  If it doesn't quite fit the stock, that can be remedied with some light sanding work to the groove with a Dremel. Of course, I'm not adverse to making something fit, if it doesn't out of the box. Some people might not be as comfortable doing that as I am. Who knows if a paratrooper blade bayonet is even going to be found or if it will be at a reasonable price?

Looks like the groove in the ferrule may have been deepened for the blade bayonet.  Definitely tougher to find a paratrooper blade.

If AK shooter wanted to go for the spike instead then a bit of woodworking is in his future  :)

John Galt did a nice repair going the other direction (Bubba cut his stock for a spike, and he went back to the original slot cut for a blade bayonet).

I don't want to modify it, and I have always wanted one of these with the blade bayonet. Time to start looking.

Good luck.  I just did a quick search and only one place I looked carried them but they're out of stock.  Ebay didn't have any. Maybe gunbroker might?

Gunbroker is a no go. All anyone has there are the spikes like everywhere else I looked.

This para has been modded to accept a blade bayonet in China. Be patient one will turn up on Evilbay or GB.

All of the blade paras I have seen have been modified in this manner.

Good looking gun!

I could have sworn it was a blade cutout.
