Well, no one had bought my parts kit so I bought this
« on: July 13, 2022, 08:24:02 PM »
Can you say RESTORE?  :)) :))

I've sold a lot of my stuff, but hadn't sold my partial parts kit. And...you guys know me...having the parts around I just had to find something to utilize them on. SO, I just won and bought this paratrooper on GB and have everything I need to bring it back to it's glorious and illustrious former Commercial self. :) ;)

My Avatar is a pic of the real "Ghost" SKS in honor of xxxsks(joe). It is a pic of a fully decked out SKS in Capco hunter's kit. This was mine, the only other pic I had ever seen of one was Joe's.

I'm sure you will have it fixed back up to a nice SKS in no time.

Yeah, it's not like I really have to do anything besides swap out the stock and mag. I've had bigger challenges, LOL.

Rifle seems to be in good shape.  Shoot another pic after you get it swapped out.  Decent price too after you sell the choate stock!

Good deal on the Sporter.  Once you put it original, you can turn it around for half again to double thumb1

Yeah, with FFL transfer I'm all in at $459 and hoping to recoup the $59 for the stock and mag.  That will leave me at $400 + my cost in the OEM parts. :)

I'm going to keep this one. It will give me a 1 standard, 1 Para, 1 GG special, and 1 Ruger American Ranch bolt action in x39.  8)

NO, NO, NO.... don't like cats. Well, not totally true. I like cats that are calm when I'm at someone else's house, but NOT in my own house EVER.

No dogs either...ATM  :)) :))

I only have a need to rescue SKSs.....Actually I just have a need to keep busy. rofl rofl

Well, I DO have a Russian stock on hand, but it is supposed to be in reserve for my daughter's SKS in case the lefties decide to ban all detachable mags and she has to put it back to OEM.

They DO still have them in Canada so I could order one. Price is getting up there though.

You did really good on that auction GG. Especially having the parts to make it right. Later you can retrieve some of your money back from bubba.  thumb1
