GB listings for October, 2016 - Romanian
« on: November 16, 2016, 02:18:38 PM »
3 Romys this month.  I still consider the Romy to be the best value in SKSs today.  They are built like tanks, even if they trend a bit uglier then their brethren.

Lowest Sale Price: $395.00
Avg. Sale Price: $440.33
Highest Sale Price: $496.00
As-Issued Avg. Price: $N/A

Please let me know any feedback (good or bad) to these.

If you have an objection or observation to add to anything I've listed, by all means call it out.  Let's look at it long and hard (I only look at each listing for a minute or two at most) and maybe everyone can learn a thing or two!  thumb1

Item Link   Description   # Bids   Final Price   Year   Arsenal Condition   Current Condition   RM's Notes

592888447   1957 Romanian SKS RARE Specimen NO RESERVE, penny opening.   27   $496.00    1957   Refurbished   Good   Drago needs to get different experts.  That stamp in front of the receiver S/N is the classic /FMA 115\ stamp as seen on many Romanian arms.  The price is a bit high IMO but not terrible when you consider it comes with the sling.

592358383   Romanian sks   1   $395.00    1958   Refurbished   Good   Decent gun, though not a great listing.

588710677   1959 Romanian SKS   5   $430.00    Uncertain   Refurbished   Good   Not a great listing.  This line epitomizes why Romanians are still a very good value: "I read a lot of things about this rifle that turned me off, so I’m selling it."

That's your std. Murray's firing pin.  Counts as one part for 922(r).
