Newbie
« on: April 21, 2016, 12:47:05 PM »
I'm sakorick(Rick) and live on my farm in North Missouri. I have one Chinese SKS and one Russian. I filled out the data sheet on my Chinese SKS SN1409895 and did not include the suffix letter "F". How do I get in the data base to fix this or is that done by a moderator? Regards, Rick.

RunningMan covers the survey data... He should be along shortly.  Welcome from N Texas!   Im guessing your arsenal ends with a 6 but is not 26?  Could be 106, 116, or 206.

1776 will commence again if you try to take our firearms... It doesn't matter how many Lenins you get out on the street begging for them to be taken.

I think it's 636. It has a small 6 big backwards 3 then another small 6 inside a triangle.

Welcome from NE Wisconsin!  Have fun here and enjoy!
When the Cambrian measures were forming, They promised perpetual peace.
They swore, if we gave them our weapons, that the wars of the tribes would cease.
But when we disarmed They sold us and delivered us bound to our foe,
And the Gods of the Copybook Headings said: "Stick to the Devil you know."

I got it, I'll update the entry.  Thanks!  It's a nice looking gun, I'm curious to see more of the painted yellow rack numbers on the stock if you're so inclined to post it here.  (see How to post photos for info how to post a photo.)

It might even be a good candidate to post in the Arsenal components section as one of the gold standard /636\ guns (http://sks-files.com/index.php?topic=1768.0)  We currently don't have a year 14 up yet.

Welcome from NM by the way.  Hope you like it here.  thumb1

I think I can figure our the image posting. I looked at the painted numbers through a 10 X glass and am quite sure it is 9-3. I also posted this on the gunboard forums.

Awesome!  thumb1  You'd be surprised how many guys can post like crazy on an attachment based forum like gunboards, but then have major issues with third party hosting forums like this one.

Definitely a nice gun you have there, thanks for showing her to us!  thumb1
