Selector switch
« on: August 20, 2018, 05:25:10 AM »
Just wondering...... Selector switch:
Was the SKS rifle in any variant ever made with a selector switch to enable automatic fire or are they semi auto only? Thanks, Mike

The factory produced SKS is a Semi auto only carbine.

They type-63, often mistakenly called an sks variant, is a select fire rifle. But it is not an sks. And it is not  legal to import  to the US.

Yes, There was an experimental Yugo select fire SKS that is obviously not able to be imported.
A couple have made it in with their selector switch removed.
