i thought the one i got was nice and wouldn't want a different one, but you and your brother did great. two of the nicest i have seen.  thumb1

Thank you. I appreciate that. His does have a hairline 5 inch crack along the left wrist that I had to repair but it is solid and unnoticeable now. Overall, I think we got pretty lucky.

Wow...that's a nice clean example.  Wood looks smooth and bluing is still intact.  That's about as good as you can hope for on a surplus SKS from classic!!

Yes, my brother’s is in really nice condition, his stock is much nicer than mine. We both lucked out and got about 90% bluing. We both thought about ordering another one or two each but I’m not sure we will be as lucky again.
