1927 TULA EX DRAGOON? CCCP M91/30
« on: March 02, 2024, 07:06:15 PM »
I’m almost too embarrassed to tell anybody what I paid for this as it’s probably the second most expensive Mosin at $775 I’ve ever purchased but, it was a private sale and all numbers match including the bayonet! It also came in the original shipping box soaked in cosmoline, with all the other accessories associated with Mosin sales like the pouch and the tool pouch with the tools. So, like I said, all numbers matching, although I have not taken it out to check the receiver tang. I did also manage to buy my old 1893 Chatellerault M91 back from a guy i traded it for an operational 1923 Witte hit and miss engine.

Nice! Definitely more than I’d pay for an M91/30 but I got all of the examples of that model that I needed years ago, so I’m undoubtedly behind on current market value.

Congrats on getting the Chatellerault back. That’s a very desirable M91.

The gun boards guys said i over paid. I’ll just wait a few years. At this rate it’ll be worth what i paid. When i 1st started buying them, they were $70 each…
