USMC H&R Reising M65
« on: March 23, 2015, 01:44:10 PM »
Bam!

Love these guns... screw a 10/22, this is a mans gun. The USMC 65, commercial 150, and commercial 165 are the bees knees when it comes to vintage semi-auto.  No charging handle, but yet it has a very conveniently located plunger under the forestock (where your hand already is).  One flick of the finger and its rock-and-roll time. Factory Redfield #75 peeps and bolt hold open. VERY accurate guns to boot. I have the M150 also... these guns are NOT leaving my collection.

Yup...  training guns for the USMC and their Reising M50 and M55 sub machine guns.

Me too, on both counts. I left to play run-go-looky without even reading the replies first  :) Thanks for sharing that LC, .22 semi-auto is on the list anyway. It sure looks sturdy and worthy of a spot in USMC training.

I did, and I am. Profusely even. Scored myself a 165 Leatherneck which I will post in Commercial Rimfire where it belongs, but my thanks belong here. I had never seen or heard of these until LC posted his and as soon as I saw it I wanted one. So, suppertime now and before I turn in I'll have some less than stellar pics in commercial rimfire.  :)
