I can't believe how close I came to owning one of the S&W 1917's it was in my grasp in 2004 for no cost, But I let it get away

Outstanding stuff!
The closest I ever got was holding one that a buddy owned. He NEVER fired it, and didn't look anywhere near as nice as the stuff posted here.

And.........GREAT job on posting up the hammer and trigger photos. I know what to look for now.

Recently picked up a minty S&W M1917 w/lanyard loop. You have a line on half moon clips or cheap-ish no-moon clip .45ACP?
