Well I have the MAS 45 trainer....might as well add this gem, and add to the enablility.. it's a mix of Enable and Ability. thumb1
The KKW trainer..truly based off of the K98, I haven't had time to do much looking and researching..screw it, it's paid for and here it is, and no drooling over the hand guard, I'm sick of cleaning my own drool off it. Sorry about the sucktastic shots, winter is not prime photo weather...and I hate cold.

Great find! thumb1 A very nice Klein Kaliber Wehrsportgewehr in the full fledged K98k mimicking version with the bayonet lug etc. I love the wood on that one :)

I would guess it's pre-war or at the least very early war time production. Ok, I have no clue on the actual date, the .22 that I believe pre-dates it is the model DSM-34. There were 4 main makers, actually there were 3, one of the manufactures changed names midway through production. To look at the post war MAS 45 and this rifle, you can see a whole lot in common. And this same design went on to create quite a few high grade target rifles.

These are neat, but I always get confused which model was actually used by the Nazi.

Oh, that's beautiful. I have to admit, though, I licked that tiger-striped handguard..... :P
