Got this from a friend a while ago. Never shot it but I've heard nothing but bad things about her, she sure is pretty though. Made in the USA

Odd little gun?

1776 will commence again if you try to take our firearms... It doesn't matter how many Lenins you get out on the street begging for them to be taken.

I've seen one or two... touched one but never fired one..

They kind of fall into the realm known as Saturday Night Specials, like Raven, Rohm and Lorcin.. will they work, possibly, will they chew through thousands of rounds and ask for more like a S&W, Glock, Sig, Ruger, possibly not.

Part of what you hear I wonder, the bad things about her, somewhere, someone got a set of big cojones and a case of the stupid and shoved +P or +P+, maybe even some hot subgun or hot reload ammo in it. That will not end well for a firearm thats possibly running at max strain with standard plain jane ball ammo. It's easier for inexperienced shooters to blame the gun, than it is the ammo, because the gun suffers the damage. I bet in your reading.... misfeeds, fail to fires and fail to eject are all fairly common, this is probably due to the lower quality control and lower cost.

I have an Egyptian Cadet, a commercial copy of a Beretta M1951/Egyptian Helwan... the Egyptian commercial variant is known as a cheap bomb.. but, it has worked fine. I just threw some low power run of the mill target stuff in it.. finding and using a mild ammo won't beat the crap out of it like a full on rage hot round will. thumb1
I'm going to make him an offer he can't refuse......

Leave the gun, take the cannoli.

I said I was an addict........I didn't say I had a problem
