Just a plain 11 mil
« on: December 29, 2019, 09:36:22 AM »
I picked this up at an unknown time, date and location! Seriously I don't remember when, where or who I bought from. I'll have to consult the log book for that info. Anyways, who cares right! I might have a slight problem  wink1

Here are the photos...(I'm leaving whats left of cosmoline on/in it)

Nice rifle.  Problem?  Nope, don't see no problems here whistle12.  Loosing count after a certain point is to be expected thumb1.

That’s a really nice clean 11 mil Bob. Guns like that are getting progressively harder to find since so many are squirreled away in collections but they are going to be head and shoulders above the price and desirability of common mismatched, bubba’d, poor condition shooters that are so prevalent today.  thumb1

Very nice Type 56 thumb1

This old thing, I forgot I had an 11mil, where’d that come from? Sounds normal to me  :)

That's a really nice 11 million Type 56 you've got there Bob! Most of the 11mils I've seen were from the issued and heavily worn batches of imports through Albania. To see one still in the cosmoline, in that condition, is great.

I must really have a case of the SKS fever. There's nothing "plain" about your '66 Type 56 to me. I just don't tire of looking at each one that gets posted. Thanks for showing us!

Wow. Bob FTW to close out the new year.

Extremely NICE CATCH, Bob!

I may be mistaken, but I think this might be the highest known serial for the 11th year . AFAIK the upper end of the 11th year serials
is in the 525,000 range.

At first glance I thought the stock was M59 with the beautiful wood grain features on that one Bob. Nice Chinese SkS and one of the nicest stocks ive seen.
