Early S’G’
« on: March 31, 2023, 11:46:06 AM »

Got a tip on a cheap Saginaw so I bought it sight unseen , just a couple fuzzy pics .

After I got it I realized the s/n wasn’t right but was very early S’G’ possibly low enough to be I.P.

Safety I.P.
Mag catch I.P.
Sear I.P.
Trigger housing S’G’
Bolt S’G’
Flip sight S’G’
Buffalo Arms barrel
Stock S’G’
Op rod Saginaw

Very nice curb appeal .. very pleased with the outcome  :)

Excellent score! If it was under 2K, you’ve got equity already.

He was asking $800 over the phone and when I saw what it was I was happy to pay the full price .

The sad thing is back in the day you could pic up a range beater for $400 and I’ve even heard stories of some even cheaper .

This was my father in Korea with his carbine  clap1

Major score, that’s a 15-20 years ago price.

Great pic of your dad! My dad arrived in Okinawa about 1 month after the cease fire in Korea. He said he carried one when he pulled perimeter guard duty.
