Hey, Mat here, and if I did the picture right, here's mine, a '72 Norinco-Poly U.S.A. T56, made at the /306\ factory, got the rifle from my Dad years ago, and up until quite recently, it hung on the wall as an ornament, but that was just because I didn't realize what I had...

carls's sks, my Dad's from Virginia, born in North Holston, and his stomping grounds was the greater Saltville/Broadford area. I used to spend many a Summer at my Aunts house in Broadford. Haven't been down there in years, we have relatives all over those hills both there and West Virginia, mostly the Bluefield area, like to get down there at least one more time before I go...

Thank you for reminding me, I couldn't for the life of me remember the name of the county. But yeah, if you know any Harris' down there, I'm most likely related to them. I miss going down there, lotta nice people there. I tell my Wife (born 'n bred in R.I.) about how you can drive by houses, and people wave at you like they've known you their entire lives, and it amazes her because you ain't NEVER gonna see that here unless you actually HAVE known them your entire life, but yeah, I would like to get down there at least one more time...and thanks for the add, I know that's 'Facebook talk', but that' what I always say there...

I have a few things from my Mom and Dad that are precious to me, mostly from Pops though, have that ChiComm, another Stevens Model 95 12Ga., some of of his ham radio stuff, another expensive hobby of mine, along with a bunch of C.B. stuff that enables me to really 'reach-out' when I feel the need, and with the next sunspot cycle in the near future, that feeling will be frequent. And as soon as this whole covid19 crap is over, I have some lead in dire need of liberation from steel cases...
