Were "Original" M38 Mosins ever produced with Laminate stocks ?
-
Laminated M38 stocks began production, by all estimates, in later part of WWII. Two different styles were produced, a wide and narrow type of laminate was used. It's very uncommon to find one, most laminate M38s found, will be laminate M44 stocks installed at refurb.
