Would-be Israeli Mauser
« on: March 12, 2022, 03:08:38 AM »
Folks, I'm looking for some suggestions for an IDF clone I'd like to complete. I've got all the parts needed for an Israeli K98 clone: WWII K98 barrelled action, NOS stock and handguard; new, in-the-white Israeli .308 barrel, etc. When I gathered all the parts years ago, I had intended to send it all to ChuckinDenver (Warpath Vintage, I think) who had previously rebarrelled a 1917 Enfield for me. He's the only person I've seen who knows the ins and outs of proper installation of the sight bases with the appropriate solder, but unfortunately is only accepting work related to U.S. military firearms.

Can anyone recommend a gunsmith who is experienced with Mauser builds?
