Title: Sad News.... Woodbeef
Post by: fenceline on July 07, 2016, 11:26:21 AM: Just got word on another forum that "Woodbeef" passed away on. I know there are members here that likely have talked SKS with him as he was into that platform along with other milsurps.

"7 years ago he he moved to Alberta. In January he had a heart attack, had a stint put in got clearance from docter to drive. He moved back here (Ontario) and only worked one week before getting ill again. He was found in his motel room on june 14, he had only been back here with us for one month. He was 57, he had no living family."

Rest in peace.

Post by: running-man on July 07, 2016, 10:37:11 PM: I'm sorry to hear this. I only knew him in passing but It's clear that he certainly liked his SKSs and was more than knowledgable about Russians. The collecting community as a whole is that much poorer with his passing. RIP :(

I'm goung to make it a point to hug my little girl every chance I get for as long as she will let me (she's 8 going on 14). Life is too short to take it for granted...

Brother, you got the right idea RM. My baby girl is 14 going on 20 and she gets hugged a few times daily and no matter what...if she's mad at me or whatever...no matter how hard she rolls her eyes....its a guarantee that she gets a goodnight hug and told she's loved.

Life's short and poop happens but 1 things for certain...I'm not going to look back and wish I had hugged 'em more and no matter when and what happens to daddy...they will allways know daddy loved 'em.
