Hey guys, Glad to be here.

A lil background for those that don't know me... I'm a single dad of two, doing my best to raise 'em on my own with respect for family and a love of the mountains and a love/respect for firearms.

I live in the mountains of VA. Working on being self sustainable on my farm ( a work that will always be in progress but hopefully will give my lil 1's something to pass on to theirs one day) Trying to keep some of the old mountain ways from fade'n away by passing what my parents taught me on to my kids.

Been into, owned and around various firearms all my life. Started collecting SKS's around '98 and fell in love with them and with the 7.62 x39  in general.Was mainly a plinker for years but lately have been leaning more towards the collector. I love breaking 'em down and cleaning, examining and learning about my SKS's and the like, as much as shooting them.

I'm a big believer in hard work, common sense and protecting my family as i see fit.

Glad to see so many familiar names here and looking forward to chatting with old and new friends alike.

Hey RM, As long as Blicero keeps that mineral oil soaked, beaver chewed, rust bucket of a YUGO someone unloaded on him to himself...its all good. ( I'll get my tetanus shot updated though...just in case)  chuckles1

Good clean water, fresh air and rolling hills...You couldn't ask for better mountains to hide in Greasemonkey.

My Yugo is pristine. A collector's masterpiece. The paramount of perfection. You just don't know a superior grade milsurp when it bites you in the nose.
Take a 5 day suspension to think about & study what makes a high end SKS. See ya next week.  rofl2
