Import stamp question
« on: December 17, 2021, 12:20:37 PM »
Has anybody seen this before? CAI import stamp where the all the Chinese stuff would normally be. I have a B-west where it is stamped over the Chinese stampings, but this is in place of. Not mine so don't have any other pics yet.

My Avatar is a pic of the real "Ghost" SKS in honor of xxxsks(joe). It is a pic of a fully decked out SKS in Capco hunter's kit. This was mine, the only other pic I had ever seen of one was Joe's.

The 90 and 91 serial prefixes  indicate that the rifles are assembled from leftover, OEM parts.

Receivers may have been blank, or scrubbed of original stampings and then re-stamped.

D'uh, sometimes I just forget to look at the stickies, LOL pullhair1 loser1

I did notice, looking again at my pic, maybe the arsenal stamp triangle is under the 7 on 7.62. Does it look that way to you or am I seeing things?
