Unfortunately nothing matches as far as numbers.
Luckily, even a non matching carbine is worth today what matching carbines were selling for just a year ago.
But i love the stock nice and worn in like it is. metal seems to not have a scratch on it. Do you think the metal was all touched up?
The metal on many of the carbines from the Albanian caches arrived in amazing overall condition (stocks notwithstanding). It's tough to say if rebluing was a common practice. But given the condition of many of the stocks from the Albanian imports, i'd guess that re-bluing probably not that common.
Or put together with a newer barreled action that saw less handling?
Is the "4' stamp on the left side of the barrel lug the same size and font as the "4" stamp on the left side of the receiver ?
