Mosin Converted Dragoon Quartet
« on: December 18, 2019, 04:01:44 PM »
Well, I pulled the trigger on four of the Dragoon's since I worked a deal.  A 1921,1925 and two 1928's.  The three older ones had early sling ferrules, while the 1921 came with a later.  All with matching serials.  All this at the end of being busted by the DW for spending a wee bit much on the CC.  Well, I spent the last of my Gun Reserve cash on these.  I now have to sell to pay down the CC (see GB and esmay for items).   Took pix then wrapped in CMP plastic bags for storage waiting for summer to bleed the cosmoline.  Cheers, Bruce.

Can you provide a link to the GB listing?

I'm really original in my user names :).  Look under "bacarnal" for the seller.  Hey, when you have a last name like "Carnal" (and then have the names Bruce Allen tagged on), ya gotta be proud of it!!!

Yeah, and no ammo, nada, zilch. :-[  Sold it all when I got rid of my PSL four years ago.  Now I have one (1) Mosin clip sans ammo.  Maybe this Summer after I get the CC paid off. whistle12

Ah, yes. That's the way it starts. Next thing you know, you'll have 57 of them, with a wall of ammo crates stacked four feet high! Now if only someone could find and import some more Soviet and/or Polish ammo on clips...

I at one time had 21 SKS rifles in my possession from 4 different countries.  Bad times hit and to make ends meet I had to sell them all except one.   :(

I like to think of them as an investment well spent. Theyre not decreasing in value, are still useful and I'll take a Mosin over a Franken parts AR15 any day! If the left ever, God forbid, got their way, bolt action rifles maybe a wise investment and an even better way to arm your local militias. Take that, ye Virginny Bluecoats!
