From my experience, the Norinco Chinese SKS is one of the few things from China that is worth the money.  Definitely not power tools or electronics.  I'll post some info about mine shortly.

This is my Norinco Type 56, arsenal 636, estimated production date of 1972 with a G5 suffix.  All numbers are matching.  I got it before bayonets were allowed on imports.
