Holy smokes, that's a lot of SKSs changing hands in the middle of summer.  I'm pleased from a selfish value perspective on the PS prices   

Just wanted to say thanks for continuing to do this since it's incredibly valuable    I see conjecture without any facts about the prices of SKSs going up/down/sideways on other boards and facebook groups, yet the numbers here give us hard data.     

Of course there are so many potential SKS sub-categories, for the Chinese especially, that this could be parsed many ways, but the data is here for those who want to investigate the market on a particular model or before they buy or sell.  Clearly there are a number of people who didn't bother to look at this data judging by the prices they paid for some "craptastic" examples

565052966 is the Chinese PSF carbine I purchased from padams8888.  After evaluating the gun, I'd honestly be more prone to upgrade the overall condition to very good.  All numbers match and are fully legible and the muzzle has the crisp edges one would expect from an unfired gun instead of the more common rounded edges.  This is why I stated in an earlier thread that I need to research it further as it looks like only a few rounds "may" have been fired through it since leaving China.  The condition far exceeded my expectations and fueled my desire to consider becoming a collector in earnest.

Hoping not to sound overly sappy, but I feel honored to be the next caretaker of this fine weapon.
