Yeah, it was Squires Bingham until 1980 when they changed to Armscor, then they opened a US office in Pahrump, NV around 1985 and acquired RIA about that time as well.
I believe I mis-spoke on the Tanfoglio thing. Back around 2006 or so, when working in a gun shop, I remember we were looking at the Armscor web-site because a customer didn't believe RIA was made in the Philippines. At that time I recall the site showed the Tanfoglio line of pistols which included models we couldn't get here in the US. We, my boss and I, always assumed they were making the Tanfoglio line as well. I got curious from this thread so I looked it up and am not finding anything about Tanfoglio except they are still Italian made and owned. Maybe they were producing some for Tanfoglio for the Asia market of maybe just a distributor for the Asia market for them?
