New to the forum, and to SKS.

These are my 2 mongrels.

All original, numbers matching, unfired Norinco. NO ORIGINAL PARTS WERE INJURED OR KILLED IN THE BUILDING OF THESE BUBBAFIED RIFLES!!!

Archangel stock,  Magpul and Archangel mags.  Murray's firing pin about to be installed. Wolf sear and hammer spring kit also about to get installed.

Rifles shoot good,  but have room for improvement.

Welcome aboard! Glad that you can return them to original. Definitely the most logical way to go with the SKS in terms of retaining its value and maintaining the option to go back to original for shooting if you choose to later.

Welcome to the site.

Glad you've got two that you can shoot and enjoy.

Nice to hear you kept the original parts - wise move.   thumb1

I know I'm shy of the count of some of you guys,  but I'm just getting started back with the hobby.  I was not involved with firearms for about 45 years. I used to shoot every Saturday with the Winchester youth rifle team,  but started racing motorcycles and then cars. Guns kinda fell to the side.

I did have 2 other NIB NORINCO's, but sold them a few months ago.  :(

I just thought I'd post a pic of a couple of unmodified SKS's I have. I need a blade for the para.

The paratrooper bayonets are just cut down standard bayonets but the para blades are especially scarce since the vast majority of the paras were made from the later spike bayonet equipped Type 56s.

Speaking of spikes, yours should be removed and rotated 180 degrees so the flat side is down when folded. It’ll be a bit more comfortable to hold the foreend and the bayonet rib will fit into the stock ferrule.

Oh no...not at all GM.    I would neeeever say thaaaaat!!!   :-X :-X ;) ;) ;)

Just saying you have a...uh....a strong passion for saving each and every poor little stray SKS you come across.  You can't bear to see them get passed over and left behind at pawn shops, gunbroker or even on this site.

This "passion" drives you to accumulate them and enable...I mean....encourage others to do the same.  wink1

Does that sound about right.....?  Besplode

My M model and one wearing a sporter poly stock. I also have 5 new unused jungle stocks in  the box.

I do need an original stock for the M model.

Depends.. think1 P32 might have feelings.. for me it's a simple singularity of a feeling.. just one, that's all I really need.  And that feeling is buried deep.. and armor plated.  rofl2

Look on fleabay, original stocks float thru there at random times.

What is this curious word, feeling(s)? I have not heard of it before.

It's not addiction if all of your fellow enthusiasts (enablers) tell you it's okay  thumb1
