Set trigger rifles...Steyr SSG69
« on: May 02, 2021, 07:27:24 PM »
Just picked up a Steyr SSG 69. These types of rifles are new to me. Double trigger setup. Once set, it’s got to be just ounces to set off the trigger. Also, got a smoking deal on it since the stock is cracked. I know they are hard to find and a bit pricey. For what I paid, it is worth my time to wait/look for a replacement stock.

I’m also looking for a good source of disassembly/reassembly.

What are your thoughts on the puppies?

I had the opportunity to go hands on with a set trigger years ago.
The owner warned me about how light it would be and it still surprised me when it went off. I always kinda wanted one after that, but the right deal never presented itself.

Cool modern sniper rifle  thumb1 :) I hope the stock can be repaired. I imagine original replacement stocks would be rarer than the rifles...perhaps non-existent.
