Compared to the 59/66, it is very simple construction. The one I have seen (I believe it is pictured in the N.Korean,E.German,etc section of this forum), is made with a nut threaded on the cylindrical steel shaft that passes thru the gas cyl housing. the other end of the shaft has what appears to be a small piece of angle iron attached (welded?), the flat side against the housing has a quarter circle arch cut/machined that is limited to the quarter turn by a pin present in the housing . The other part of the angle iron serves as the grip surface to turn the cut-off. Sorry for the drawn out description ( in this case a picture IS worth 1000 words).
