A 3 rd 81mm mortar can holds a crap ton of x39, especially loose... you will just need a hand cart to move it any distance  :) I have probably over 1k of 7.5 French boxed packed into one.

They measure 14.5 inchesx5.7 inchesx29.150 inches.

I've got a few of the PA-120 40mm ammo cans (17.25" x 5.5" x 9.5") filled with the more common cartridges in my ammo dump that aren't in spam cans, crates, or original case sized boxes: 7..62x39, 7.62x54R, 7.92x57mm, and .303. They can be moved while full using the two side handles, but lift carefully  :o  Those mortar cans are definitely great for maximum static storage with minimal floor space.

They holds lots and lots of shotgun shells too rofl2  Wonder how many x25, 9mm, or .22lr rounds would fit.... :o   rofl2  and I'm pretty sure a folding Ak or a Vz58 would fit as well thumb1
I'm going to make him an offer he can't refuse......

Leave the gun, take the cannoli.
