Most the retaining character of the barrel to receiver is in the interference fit of their respective ID and OD.

Send it to me....  Ill drift that dude out, but I will NOT push out that barrel.  The pinned barrel I removed, the receiver had to be cut front/back across the zone to relieve the pressure.  The pin itself shouldn't be to difficult.

1776 will commence again if you try to take our firearms... It doesn't matter how many Lenins you get out on the street begging for them to be taken.

I think I will retain THAT pin, already have another to hunt down after today....dangit.
I would think that the pin was a formality then? I have heard you never want to try pull a pinned barrel. I am pretty sure the DB is going to be an infrequent shooter/wall hanger/discussion piece.  It has a beautiful stock I refinished for her...considering her innards, she is a pretty gun now...just the other day a buddy said if he was going to steal any of them, that would be the one.  I just laughed and laughed....

Please report your findings and post pics if possible.

This tells me the '0' on the barrel is not related to any indexing etc....  unless we find they marked barrels only to indicate a diameter range or something on the pinned barrels.   All good data...

Thanks for the post SkooterTrash!
