rofl I'm trying my best man. Just picked up a P 64, P83 and another FEG PA-63 local since the new year....I'll just have to try harder  :)) Truth be told though...I picked up the 2nd PA-63 for a buddy that's been jonesing for 1. Us millsurp addicts gotta stick together  thumb1

Gotta love the two-tone military finish, very unique. I have yet to run across any of the all blued/black commercial imports of the same design. I prefer old military but if I have the sweats and the price was right...well...  chuckles1

Is your mag S/N stamped or a blank 1?

Yeah, I dig the two toned finish, and that aluminum frame is really light.

I have a marked mag with 4 numbers that don't match, but I'm not crying for the price  :)

Granted I've only seen a few of these the past couple years but I'm thinking I lucked out on my 1st 1. It had a matching mag and a blank 1, the others I've seen have had mismatched mags only.

Between these 3 we have 3 different import stamps. The 1 I picked up for my buddy is the neatest. Super small on right side frame and your typical St. Albans VT that you would think would be CAI but...IIRC its Joes trading Co.  think1  My KBI import stamp fills up a portion of the right slide and yours kinda goes sideways on the frame.

thumb1 thumb1 your getting it, say this with me..... Samopal vzor 61.. Now thats how "umožňující" is done in Czechoslovakia   rofl2 :)

And look...they are "IN STOCK"... the .32acp and .380 Vz.61s aren't anymore, they aren't making these early variants any longer..now they are hung up on that gwady EVO series plastic wrapped version in 9mm Luger.  There was even a very rare stainless version made, looks cool with the silver frame and dark blued hardware, almost like a FEG.  banghead1

I like the wood grip of course, the phenolic not so much, and get the leather holster....and 20 rd mag x3 or 4. You legally can have the stock that goes with it........just cant mate the two together for that wholesome Czech goodness until you get the "stamp" of approval..  :)

 cry1 I want both.....

The Czechpoint site says if one has the stock, mounting plate, and pistol all in the same place, then you're in "constructive possession" of an SBR...I don't think I want to test that one  fineprint chuckles1

$615 pistol, 4 mags =$90, $100 stock and mounting plate, $200 stamp...yikes, $1005 plus shipping  :o ...and 9 months  rofl ...for an SBR in 9x18 Mak...definitely cool, but I've talked myself out of it  :)

So one can have a tack welded folding stock already folded neatly and attached to a PPS-43 pistol straight from an importer... but one can "not" have a Vz.61 and have a stock/mount chunked and sealed in a cardboard box, locked in storage due to "constructive possession"   Besplode. Alright then... :(  Learned me sumthin there...   I hate lawyerese writing.. its so grey and cloudy.  bat1

I didn't say it made sense...they're firearms laws after all...followed by executive branch interpretation...and...a coin toss?  rofl

I honestly don't know which interpretation is correct but I tend to err on the side of over-cautiousness when it comes to these things   :o  chuckles1
