SVT-40 Bayonet (Repro)
« on: May 16, 2018, 11:29:40 AM »
Added this repro to the SVT40 ('41 Ishevsk), been looking for the real thing for awhile now and they're either in terrible shape, or terribly expensive - so this is good enough for display purposes. Fit's great as an added bonus lol.

about 3 years ago corwin arms had fresh from polish storage polish reworked ones for 160or180.
I got one and a brand-new-still-wrapped-in-grease-paper magazine pouch.
I should have got more, what if i ever get another SVT?

This repro is also from "Polish storage" and came still "wrapped-in-grease" with surpposed arsenal marks, there's been some ongoing discussion on other sites about their actual genesis, but generally understood to be just repros  at this point.  I probably still overpaid at 70 bucks lol, but still wanted it just for display purposes.

In the grand scheme of things, if it completes your display and makes you happy, it's money well spent - reproduction or not.  thumb1

Those bayos look rather sexy when installed.   thumb1

1776 will commence again if you try to take our firearms... It doesn't matter how many Lenins you get out on the street begging for them to be taken.

If i remember correctly mine has a faint soviet arsenal mark somewhere.  I recall its not the same arsenal as my rifle, which annoyed me at the time.
