Proud SKS owner from texas

Just recently acquired my 11 million serial factory /26\ SKS rifle, and found sksfiles had so much more info about my favorite rifle than anywhere else.

I fully intend to participate in the survey soon. I'd also love to get an original wood stock and hinged floor plate magazine... The black polymer folder and 10 rnd promag are great, but  nothing beats the classic look... Besides, my promag won't let me use stripper clips, which is one of my favorite parts of SKS rifles.

Check fleabay and the "broker" for wood stocks and original 10rd mags.  Also occasionaly there are members here that have extra spare stocks and mags that they are willing to part with.

1776 will commence again if you try to take our firearms... It doesn't matter how many Lenins you get out on the street begging for them to be taken.

Thanx guys. I have learned so much about SKS rifles, and the Chinese military models specifically in the last few days. I can't even begin to imagine all the work it took. And huuzah, another Texan, feels like home already.

Oh I've been fully aware this was a expensive , and possibly obsessive hobby, just like my other fledgling hobbies.
